OYSTER BAY FARMERS’ MARKET “GROWS” BIGGER AND BETTER, Open May 27-Oct 28, 10am-4pm
What started as a seedling of an idea in the Oyster Bay Main Street Association’s office, has blossomed into a bumper crop of a concept for downtown Oyster Bay! The Oyster Bay Farmers’ Market returns for its second year in the historic downtown with more vendors, an expanded location and better space for parking and shopping.
The market, which features over 15 vendors and offers goods as varied as homemade pickles to natural pet treats, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, May 27. What a great way to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend! New hours this year are from 10 am – 4 pm. The market will continue to operate every Friday through October 28. Many vendors from the market’s inaugural year are eagerly returning to harvest the benefits of a bursting downtown! They will be joined by an impressive number of new exciting vendors wanting to be part of the weekly event. The market will now be situated on Audrey Avenue, north of the Oyster Bay Bandstand, which will become a pedestrian thoroughfare on market days.
The Oyster Bay Main Street Association is thrilled to again be organizing and managing this enterprise in conjunction with the Town of Oyster Bay.
